The previous owners remodeled the house and put carpets down and when the painters came in they didn't put anything down on the floors. They're already covered in paint and drywall so not painting them would just make it look like our floors were filthy.

Anonymous asked: To the person who wants to PAINT their hardwood floors... DON'T! It would probably be better just to leave them until you get money to refinish them. If you paint them, you're taking away value from your house. These days, buyers want hardwoods! So, keep that in mind. :)

funbagsxxmcbooty asked: I'm currently in the process of redoing my hardwood floors. Rather than sand the entire floor and refinishing it (which is expensive and messy). We're just painting them. I know some people think that's blasphemy but I'm a poor college student and it's all I can afford. Any funky ideas for designs/colors? (the main colors in the room are black, silver and a purple/maroon)
